This would technically be draft 7 of my story, not that I mind. In fact, I am glad it’s gone through the wringer so many times! This means that the story is becoming stronger more than I imagined! I have two more scenes and I’m FINISHED AFTER MONTHS OF REVISING!
I wanted to wait until today to scream about it when I wasn’t drunk on sleep, Haha. But a new Middle Grade idea hit me one day while revising. I’m not going to drop the while concept yet because, to be very honest, it’s still in it’s first stage.
But it has everything to do with brotherly love but this MAY change later on. This has be excited, though. I hope by the end of the month I’ve finished reviving my current WIP, I’ll can draft my story!
Can’t wait to start!
I don’t even know how to do that on here. I live on Twitter, it’s my virtual home, honestly.
But to keep on the topic, I’m just going to give a tiny update. I didn’t do any revising today. I’m not as disappointed as I thought I would be. I think its because it keeps my ideas flowing at a consistent level.
Hopefully tomorrow I can at least flesh out 1K – 2K words. I’m at the mid point of the book!
So… I’ve left my story unviewed from my very last post on here.
For the past couple of weeks, I’ve decided to give it yet another run through the wringer. I want to squeeze out any unnecessary things/parts in there. You know, information that just doesn’t need to be put in. Honestly, I dont even notice until it’s pointed out. I’m like “welp, back to the drawing board”.
I’ve also expanded a bit on my main character’s relationships with the characters. Especially those who play a very important role in her life.
For the most part, this seventh (or so) draft is going great! Though it’s a lot of work and time, I’m loving how it’s taking such a wonderful turn. There are even elements I never expected to happen!
I can’t wait to finish this revision and get started on the second book!
